Zambia’s main opposition sacks own leader
Zambia's largest opposition party, the Movement
for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD), on Saturday said it had fired its
leader Nevers Mumba amid signs of party in-fighting. Party national

Yerevan says Brazzaville crash plane was Armenian
A cargo plan that crashed at Brazzaville airport
killing at least 27 people belonged to the Armenian freight specialist

S.Africa marks AIDS day with record ribbon
South Africa, home to the world's largest HIV
caseload, on Saturday unveiled a 1.5 kilometre AIDS ribbon in
Johannesburg, with activists and officials pledging to curb the
